My friend François asked me to joing him for a trekking week-end hiatus.

A short escape into the Pyrenées (Cauterets) to complete in two days a 45km trekking with magnificient views over some of most magical high altude lakes of this area.

I was late (as usual) to join him and drove from Bayonne by night to arrive around midnight in Pont d'Espagne parking lot.

Then i went for a good 15km solo walk into the dark to finally join the bivouac around 3o'clock am at the first lake stop.
